In case you missed it, here is a video clip of the France vs. Spain 2011 EuroBasket Championship game. Enjoy!
San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker led France with 26 points but it wasn’t enough to dethrone the defending champion Spain and Pau Gasol.
Juan Carlos Navarro was named MVP of the tournament scoring a game-high 27 points in Spain’s 98-85 victory to clinch the EuroBasket crown.
Also at the 1:20 mark of the video, Rudy Fernandez chased Parker in mid-air and was called for an unsportsmanlike foul leaving the French superstar lying momentarily motionless on the court.
Parker of France, Navarro and Gasol of Spain, Bo McCalebb of Macedonia and Andrei Kirilenko of Russia were picked as the top five players of the EuroBasket tournament.
What do you think about Fernandez’ foul on Parker was it a dirty play or just a hard foul? Share us your thoughts.

We see it the way we want to see it, to me, Fernandez foul was uncalled for, I was surprised he was allowed to finish the game, but what’s done is done, Tony Parker and France moves on and will target redemption at the London Olympics.
Fernandez went for TP’s neck not the ball! He should have thrown out for that. I guess that’s what happens when you become a Dallas Maverick!
Go Spurs Go!
Spain won the match, but this foul by Fernandez tried to kill the France momentum going forward. It appears to a hard foul but i’m not too sure about his intentions.
Either way, I’m just happy that TP was not seriously hurt. France can held their heads up high for playing hard and clean. Very Spur-like!
