Led by San Antonio Spurs’ Erazem Lorbek, Slovenia defeated Lithuania in an easy fashion in their friendly game.

Slovenia built a 26-12 lead after the first period and never relinquish it. The Slovenian’s did not let up in the second quarter, and extended their advantage to 52-33 at halftime.

Lithuania played better in the second half.  They won the third period 13-10 and the last quarter 20-18,  but it wasn’t enough.

Lithuania eventually lost the game 80-66 at the hands of Slovenia.

In the third period, Latvia continued with a strong effort and stretched their lead to 68-56 heading into the final quarter.

  2. Bertans isn’t getting much playing time with Latvia so he is likely to be cut. Lorbek on the other hand, has been impressive in the last couple of friendly games.

  3. Slovenia is looking like a strong team and Erazem Lorbek has been quite impressive in Slovenia’s warm-up games, I think the Spurs should try to get him one the season resumes.
